Phish Fall Tour 2023

Twenty six years have passed, since I gave away a ticket to a Phish concert. In the words of Phish fans, I ‘miracled’ the ticket to a friend. The location was the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio and I had a ticket, that cost $22.50, to what would have been my first Phish show. What I missed during the Phish Fall Tour of 1997 has become known as a classic, one of Phish’s best jams. The band was 14 years into their career since forming in 1983 and performing exceptionally. Anyone who has been to multiple concerts by the same band knows, some shows have a sizzling tension in the air that keeps everyone’s hackles raised. Some concerts are good. And then there are moments when musicians, fans and the arc of existence come together to make a concert great. The great concert is what I missed.

Phish recently announced their Fall Tour for 2023, your favorite Heavy Metal Hippie was super stoked to find out that Phish would be returning to the Nutter Center in Dayton, OH for two big nights in October. Phish will begin their eight date tour in Nashville, Tennessee at the Bridgestone Arena for three nights October 6-8th, then on to the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio on October 10-11th and then wrapping up with a three night stand at the United Center in Chicago, Ill October 13-15th.

Phish has a ticket lottery for the presale tickets. I put my name and a credit card in for the event at phish.com. Other fans did the same up until July 10th. Winners were notified by email between July 10th and 11th. Tickets become available to the public beginning July 15th at 10am EST. There is a lot of buzz about this Fall tour online, with Phish bypassing the Midwest this Summer these shows will be in high demand. Hope to see you there. I secured a ticket and MPL will be reporting live from Dayton,OH, October 10-11th! Sadly, this will be the second Phish Concert that Veronica will miss because she has another engagement.

Peace, Love and Mosh Pits,

Scott
