(Kea’au, Hawai'i, 11.29.2024) Mosh Play Live made the Friday night journey to Eagles Aerie in Kea’au to catch the Psychedelic Rock Band Uncle Charlie.
Fans in attendance were treated to an array of 1960’s classics, including “Taxman” by The Beatles, “Up on Cripple Creek” and the Grateful Dead’s “Candyman" sung by new East Side keyboardist Jeff Siberman. The second set is where the show really took off with one of my favorite Grateful Dead songs “Shakedown Street,” that had the crowd hopping out of their seats and heading to the dance floor. A beautiful version of the Allman Brothers Band classic “Midnight Rider” really capped off the night.
A brief note regarding GPS map directions to Eagles Aerie. While the venue is simple to find, GPS can be confusing. All you need to remember is when you see the signs for the Kea’au Transfer Station, turn onto the road that is on the opposite side from the transfer station. if you are traveling southeast on 130, take a right and if you are heading northwest it will be a left. As soon as you are on the correct road, there will be a sign pointing to the left for parking at Eagles Aerie.
Uncle Charlie can be found playing all over the Big Island. If you’re a fan of Psychedelic Rock ‘n Roll get out and see Uncle Charlie and support live and local music.
Peace, Love & Mosh Pits,
Gröm
